What you’ll achieve

Responsible for all elements of the financial close and consolidation process – accuracy, timeliness, effectiveness, and efficiency related to Controllership for the designated area of responsibility – to ensure that internal, external, and control environment requirements of the Company are met.

As an Accounting Advisor you will have an integral role to play in the accounting team. Working with a number of key Dell sites, you will be responsible for preparing income, balance sheets, consolidated and other statements. Other duties will include.

You will:

• Collaboration with financial planners and controllers to develop accurate and supportable forecast and outlook information
• Collaboration with non-Finance or Accounting personnel in reviewing contracts and other supporting information to ensure adherence to company policies and the necessary accounting treatment.
• Analyzing financial reports and records and making recommendations on our reserves, assets, liabilities, revenue and expenditures
• Completing reconciliations and reporting.
• Liaising with Corporate Reporting/ stat auditors on reporting
• Direct Tax accounting and reporting

Essential Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA)
• Sound experience in the financial services sector
• High level of competence in analysis, interpretation and evaluation of financial data

Desirable Requirements

•  Typically requires 5+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent experience
