Accounting Associate – Ca Intern

**Effective Field**:

– Assist with the preparation of financial statements
– Analyse and reconcile bank statements and general ledgers
– Post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue
– Maintain and record Fixed Assets.
– Prepare and file local compliance reporting as necessary.
– Accounting of a foreign exchange transactions.
– Act as liaison for vendors to reconcile any billing discrepancy.
– Coordinate with management and staff to prepare budgets
– Resolve account payable and receivable issues or queries.
– Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, check and credit card transactions, and tally and file invoices.
– Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.
– Assist in Statutory and tax audits, and general ledger preparation.
– Develop monthly financial statements that include cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
– Complete end-of-month close procedures.

**What distinguishes you**:

– Education: Chartered Accountant (CA)/ CA Intern
– 1 to 3 Years experience in a multinational setup in Accounting, Taxation, and reporting.
– Sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
– Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
– Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
– Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
– Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
– Excellent reporting, writing, communication and IT skills.
– Advanced competency in Microsoft office and Tally accounting packages.
– Knowledge of FEMA Compliances, Non-STPI and Transfer Pricing would be an added advantage.
