Job Summary
Egnyte Info India is looking for a G/L Supervisor to join our growing Finance team. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, detail oriented, and works well in a remote team environment. The role will be responsible for a broad range of accounting functions including reviewing/approving journal entries and account reconciliations, monthly accruals, monthly financial flux analysis, expense report management, and ad-hoc projects as requested. This candidate will work independently, with little supervision and a high level of efficiency and accuracy. Egnyte is a fast-paced environment, which requires the ideal candidate to be adaptable and able to prioritize their workload. This candidate must be able to work independently with only a moderate level of supervision. Roles and Responsibilities
- Period-end close activities, including review/approval of journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis, as well as other duties in accordance with the company timelines and schedule
- Analyze and prepare month end accruals related to purchasing activities
- Manage the accurate and timely month-end procedures for high level key balance sheet and income statement accounts including approving and reviewing journal entries, account analysis and reconciliations
- Drive process establishment or improvement and system implementation for financial processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various organizations within the company by providing financial insights and relevant reporting
- Serve as a key contributor for the auditors and tax accounts and facilitate various requests
- Support management in dynamic projects in a fast-growing company
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting or Finance
- 7–10+ years of progressive work experience
- Big four public accounting experience or CPA preferred
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- Balance Sheet and Income Statement account reconciliations including flux analysis
- Self-motivated and a problem solver with a “can-do” mentality and a strong desire to drive change
- A team player mentality with the ability to work effectively in a remote and independent environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the capability of manipulating, analyzing, and reporting large sets of data
- NetSuite, Blackline, and Coupa experience preferred
- Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent written and oral communication in English
- Available to work US hours
