Job Description

Position Overview

• Runs and maintains existing Investment reports for both internal and external clients.  Reviews all reports before distributing and follows key controls to ensure the reports are complete, accurate and generated in a timely manner.
• Analyzes investment information in the reports that are being prepared. Researches and answers any questions that may arise from the customer of the reporting information.
• Works directly with the internal stakeholders to define and complete new report requests.  Follows through with stakeholders to ensure that their reporting needs were met.
• Perform various daily/monthly checks and review reconciliations to ensure accurate, efficient, and effective processing in accordance to control process
• Assist with processing and review of manual transactions related to less liquid asset classes such as Alternatives, Bank Loans, Private Placements, etc.
• Work with other teams to obtain investment related information
• Research/resolve and comment on month over month income variances
• Work with management to continually improve all processes, procedures, and practices to enhance team efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance
• 3+ years’ experience in an accounting function
• Demonstrated process orientation and problem-solving skills
• A strong detailed orientation and work ethic  
• Ability to work effectively on cross functional teams/projects  
• Knowledge of Fixed Income, Structured Products, Derivatives, Mortgage Loans is a plus
