We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team as a Compliance and Financial Reporting Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in various compliance areas, including GST, TDS, Statutory Audits, Income tax, Tax audit, Transfer pricing, Financial statements preparation as per IFRS, Secretarial compliance, and MIS reporting.

Job Overview

The Compliance and Financial Reporting Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the company’s adherence to all regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of various compliance areas and the ability to prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with international standards.

Responsibilities:

Compliance Management:

  • Oversee and ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income tax, VAT and other statutory regulations.
  • Conduct regular internal audits to identify and rectify non-compliance issues.
  • Manage transfer pricing documentation and compliance.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during statutory and tax audits.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns and compliance with tax audit requirements.

Secretarial Compliance:

  • Oversee and manage secretarial compliance activities, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain statutory registers and records in compliance with company law.

MIS Reporting:

  • Develop and implement Management Information System (MIS) reporting processes.
  • Prepare periodic MIS reports for senior management, providing insights into financial performance.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of financial transactions and compliance-related activities.
  • Ensure proper record-keeping of all financial and compliance documents.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required.
  • Additional qualification as Company Secretary (CS) will be preferred.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience (Incl articleship) in GST, TDS, audits, income tax, tax audit, transfer pricing, financial reporting, and secretarial compliance.

Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax laws, transfer pricing regulations, and IFRS.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Communication:

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
