Deputy Manager-Financial Reporting (Lloyd’s London Market Reporting)
Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, review, and submit Lloyd’s reporting and other financial statements to clients for approval and sign-off
- Preparation, review, and submission for approval and signoff of annual and quarterly syndicate returns
- Compliance reporting on Lloyd’s MS15 – Investments requirements
- Preparation and submit for approval of SBF
- Cash flow forecast as per policy
- Assist actuarial team to gather data for calculation of Pillar I capital requirements and reserves
- Preparation of QRTs, NSTs and financial sections of the SFCR/RSR
- Coordination and preparation of State reporting requirements relating to the company
- Provide assistance to Legal Entity Reporting and the wider Finance department on strategic projects as required.
- Support with query resolutions to the internal, external and statutory auditors
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Excellent people skills, ability to build quality relationships across the organisation at all levels. Premium communication skills both written and verbal, ability to adjust the style to suit the audience varying by role (technical / business) and seniority.
- Clarity of thought, process, and logical approach. Structured and organised.
- Good working experience on software lifecycle management tools. Familiarity with the standard suite of Microsoft Office products. Expert level with Word and PowerPoint, advanced with Excel and Visio
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- 10+ Years of experience in the London Market with Leading Broker and an International Specialty Insurer and Reinsurer. Has experience in Lloyd’s of London reporting requirements
- Excellent knowledge of London Market requirements and end to end Financial and Statutory requirements
- Investments reporting, RSR, PRA
- Graduate/Postgraduate with a good academic background
- Prior experience with a syndicate preferred
