GM/Director – Accounting & Finance

Job Description

Role Requirements:

• Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks

• Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems

• Set up and oversee the company’s finance ERP system & automation

• Managing all finance and accounting operations

• Oversee all audit and internal control operations

• Taxation, working with the auditors

• Develop the corporate fundraising strategy and manage relationships with partners and investors

• Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis

• Conduct analysis to make forecasts

• Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines

Candidate Profile Requirements:

• Functional Experience of:

o Book closure – Monthly, quarterly & annual closure (Tally, QB, Zoho)

o Managing AR (Account Receivables), AP (Accounts Payable), Inventory involving Inter state movement of goods

o Compliance: GST, Indirect Taxation, etc.

o Investor Relations & MIS

o Automation & Process Creation

• Industry Experience:

o E-commerce/manufacturing industry

o Start-up (in rapid ramp-up stage)

o Having worked directly with Founders

• Education:

o Chartered Accountant with 5-15 yrs of experience.

• Hunger and Curiosity to be an Industry Leader in next 2-3 years

• Solid communication skills, with no compromise on clarity and dept

• Evidence of ownership and past success in Finance

• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices

• Common Sense, knack for numbers/data, independence and resourcefulness are table stakes!
