**Your field of responsibility**

Join us as a Junior Consolidation Accountant in Group Financial Reporting. The team is responsible to control the consolidation process whereby the consolidated financial statement numbers related updates from the entities follow appropriate approval process involving various stakeholders. Additionally, the team owns a variety of disclosures within the quarterly and annual financial-statements of CSG. An integral part of the team is providing world class service to global-stakeholders through proactive approach within a dynamic environment. An accounting position in Group consolidated reporting function US GAAP and CH GAAP reporting and close process.
– Responsible for consolidation, preparation and analysis of US GAAP disclosures for external publication in quarterly and annual Credit Suisse Group and Credit Suisse Bank reports
– Partner with Accounting Policy Group in providing Group-wide accounting advice and policy implementation and responding to queries from LEC / others on SME topics
– Assist on ad-hoc analysis, new business implementations and process design/enhancement

Responsible for the Group consolidated close process which includes:

– Support and monitor legal entity consolidated reporting
– SME of assigned topics in BS, PL & other topics in externally published Group financial results. Perform analytical review on legal entity results – BS and PL
– Present analytical review of variances in primary financials and selected disclosures to senior management
– Provide metrics related to late journals, re-openings or delays impacting consolidation to senior management
– Ensure that consolidated results are performed and controlled to a high standard
– Support the Group consolidation and external reporting processes. Continuous improvement (standardization and improvements) to existing processes
– Undertake projects to build controls in Group reporting processes, support existing disclosures and implement new disclosures as required by revised US GAAP/CH GAAP guidance

**Your skills and experience**

We are looking for:

– Chartered Accountant with 8-9 years of work experience
– Experience in financial services or big 4 audit firms
– Technically competent consolidation accountant
– Familiarity with US GAAP accounting standards and SEC reporting requirements
– Strong MS Excel skills; experience in working with a consolidation system (Hyperion) advantageous
– Pro-active, motivated, flexible and team-orientated
– Ability to work under pressure
– Good verbal and written communication skills. Knowing German language will be an added advantage
