Scope of Work

This position entails making sure the financial records of all the 12+ business units function for the company are scrutinised and maintained as per quality standards. The role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, as well as compliance with international accounting standards.

The individual in this role will be responsible for maintaining each country’s Trial Balance to meet the quality standards outlined under IFRS and 20Cube policies. Proficiency in Oracle software at an expert user level is a prerequisite for this position. Given the automated nature of most accounting processes, the incumbent, along with the team, will conduct periodic reviews of various aspects to ensure the quality of accounts and sub-schedules.

The role requires familiarity with accounting principles and ledger scrutiny to identify and rectify mistakes or incorrect entries. Successful execution of this role is integral to upholding the company’s financial integrity and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely standalone and consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements and company policies and getting them audited.
2. Global General Ledger: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of general ledger transactions per international accounting standards and 20Cube accounting policies.
3. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing financial reporting team through effective communication, mentorship, and talent development and foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
