Company – Insurance Broker.

Role- HOD- Finance & Accounting

Location- Mumbai

Experience Should have 8+ years experience in Accounting, Auditing, Income Tax, Book Keeping, and General Accounting.

Education CA Must

Work Days-6 Days ( 1st and 3rd Sat off)

Broad Responsibility:

1. Documentation and understanding of Financial statements and report review, analyze and internal report creation.

2. Compliance with Accounting Standard, Preparation of Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss a/c, Audit Reports ,Preparing Computation and filing of Income tax returns.

3. Responsible for Statutory Compliance (TDS, Goods and Services tax, Service Tax).

4. Compliance with requirements of Schedule III of the Companies Act 2013, Schedule VI of the Companies Act 1956.

5. Controlling the General Ledger activities by scrutinizing the ledger accounts periodically and ensure compliance

6. Analytical review of P&L accounts and balance sheet accounts and prepare cash-flow statements and cash forecast statements.

7. Indirect Tax compliance work.

8. Direct Tax compliance work.

9. Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly Closing activities.

10. Responsible for Taxation, Reconciliation, Finalization.

11. Expense Management.

Other Skills –Should be fluent in English and should have good communication skills.
