About PhonePe
PhonePe is India’s leading digital payments platform with over 400 million+ registered users. Using PhonePe, users can send and receive money, recharge mobile, DTH, data cards, pay at stores, make utility payments, buy gold, and make investments. PhonePe went live for customers in August 2016 and was the first non-banking UPI app and offered money transfer to individuals and merchants, recharges and bill payments to begin with. In 2017, PhonePe forayed into financial services with the launch of digital gold, providing users with a safe and convenient option to buy 24-karat gold securely on its platform. PhonePe launched its Switch platform in 2018, and today its customers can place orders on over 300 apps including Ola, Myntra, IRCTC, Goibibo, RedBus, Oyo etc. directly from within the PhonePe mobile app. PhonePe is accepted at over 18 million merchant outlets across 500 cities nationally.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop clear understanding of revenue and cost drivers, preparation of monthly financial metrics and financials for the entity and provide variance, value add analysis and support stakeholders.
2. To evaluate & devise appropriate processes & internal controls framework to exercise effective financial control related to the direct costs for the company’s operations and to ensure compliance with regulatory/Group requirements and to highlight any gaps to appropriate forums for quick resolution of the issues
3. System testing & process controls review during implementation of Revenue and Cost systems.
4. Responsible for setting up all Stock broking accounting, fund movement, Setting up of the process and workflows, monitoring them closely, and ensure complete compliance with the Laws of the Land
5. Must have a fair understanding of broking related SEBI regulations.
6. Create and maintain Revenue metrics for the management.
7. Identify the observations/issues/control gaps in the System/money movement/ Invoicing/collections process and highlight it to the management.
8. Accounting and reporting of Revenue & Costs in line with IFRS/ US GAAP requirements.
9. MIS reporting for internal & external stakeholders.
10. Coordination and dealing with the Auditors (statutory & internal) for quarterly/ annual audits resulting in improvement of controls in various business and support functions.
11. Build, develop and maintain necessary dashboards for review and analysis of money flows.
Ideal Candidate
1. A strong technical background with knowledge of IFRS/IND AS/US GAAP accounting.
2. Excellent analytical and communication skills.
3. Review of System controls and IT risk assessment.
4. Ability to work in a diverse and cross-functional environment.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google sheets, Presentation.
6. Experience in the field of Stock broking Industry or treasury related activities is an added advantage.
Education/ Qualification
Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 5-8 yrs. of post qualification work experience
