Manager – Non-Financial Risk Reporting
Job Description
Role Profile
This role reports to the Senior Manager of Non-Financial Risk Reporting and is part of the Group Risk function. Group Risk covers all aspects of Financial, Non-Financial and Strategic risk. The function acts as a close advisor to businesses and is engaged in all key initiatives.
This role is responsible for the management of effective reporting in support of the Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Framework. Primary focus is the effective supervision, validation, and delivery of quality and insightful reports to Risk Committees.
The role requires close liaison with the team members across Group Risk (including Leadership) as well as senior management within the other lines of defence, providing unique insight and exposure to all areas of LSEG.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, design, implement and supervise the change management and validation framework of reports being delivered by the team.
- Coordinate delivery of reporting packs for Risk Committees and Risk Steering Groups.
- Design, implement and manage risk reporting processes and tools.
- Maintain effective relationships across the lines of defence, advise on and coordinate the building of dashboards aligned to business needs.
- Provide Second Line review and challenge of First Line reporting submissions.
Candidate Profile / Key Skills
- Risk reporting professional with expert Power BI skills. Knowledge and experience with any other Power applications, or other reporting platforms, is a plus.
- Providing expertise managing changes, as well as ensuring adequate quality assessments and validations before releases.
- Able to handle delivery across teams to fixed targets, whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Able to turn reporting requirements into sustainable processes.
- Understanding of business intelligence/data visualisation tools.
- Exposure to Governance, Risk & Compliance solutions is beneficial.
- Familiarity with NFR framework components, e.g. Risk & Control Assessment is beneficial
- Broad knowledge of Non-Financial risks in the context of a large enterprise.
- Comfortable handling own workload.
- Ability to build and cultivate positive relationships at all levels with excellent stakeholder management experience.
