MISSION
The mission of the Swiss Accounting Department is to provide outstanding levels of support, service and systems. The Finance Department commits to conforming to the highest level of accounting & ethical standards. The services and decisions we provide will be honest, fair and impartial.
The Manager will have the responsibility to support the Cotecna Inspection SA accounting team in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with IFRS regulations.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Migration of accounting processes from Geneva/other affiliates to Global finance SSC in Mumbai
- Team management, ensuring deliverables are timely and accurate for tasks assigned to team.
- Responsible for Accounts Payable/Account receivable/Intercompany reconciliations of the company
- Co-ordination/support for statutory/Internal audit of the company
- Monthly provision & Prepaid accounting
- Centralisation project – Sales invoices validation, check and booking.
- Undertake GL scrutiny of the current assets, current liabilities & Expenses accounts.
- Co-operate & co-ordinate with internal customers in reference to finance & accounts.
- Deliverable should be in a timely manner, with utmost accuracy.
- Proper internal control on payables/receivable.
- Vendor payout should be done in a timely manner.
- Any concerns from HO team to any matter should be resolved ASAP.
- Timely & quality finance reporting has to be delivered as per Cotecna’s Group financial reporting standard.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- Chartered accountant/MBA finance with 3 to 5 years of accounting of AR/AP/Intercompany etc experience
- 3 to 5 years of team management experience is a must.
- Experience in a similar position in an international group/ MNC is preferred.
- Experience of migration of processes in Shared service centre is preferred.
- Knowledge of IFRS is preffered
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint

TECHNICAL & SOFT SKILLS
- Solid experience in accounting activities and preparation of financial statements.
- Fair knowledge of Finance ERP or Accounting tools, preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV/SAP
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Strong analytical skills and flair for analysing financial figures.
