Key Responsibilities
As part of CA Industrial Trainee, along with the core accounting you will be given exciting opportunities to take lead on multiple projects which cuts across different Accounting Functions, drive initiatives on Automation/Standardization/Simplification, Process Improvements through Gap Analysis, communicating to different stakeholders and implementing Best Practices and leading setting up of New Processes.
As an Accounting Professional, you will be part of an operating team handling accounting transactions per day. You will be under a group handling tasks and transactions that may be related to: Journal Entries, Reconciliations, Treasury and Cash Management, General Accounting, Fixed Assets and Intercompany Accounting. Record journal entries, invoices, accruals etc.
Take lead in process improvement projects.
Lead multiple specific projects with executives as per the requirement.
Lead process set up for new areas.
Prepare the reports based on accounting information as needed to meet business requirements.
Perform GL accounts review and settlements and ensure timely close of GL period.
Basic knowledge of accounting and accounting principles
Perform the reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts as assigned.
Meets accounting close deadlines as assigned.
Provide information and reports for audits – internal and external.
Essential Requirements
Chartered Accountants qualified to join as per ICAI guidelines.
Basic knowledge of systems and automation tools (including MS XL etc)
Strong Analytical skills
Strong communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
