Responsibilities

    • Manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure all internal control procedures are adhered to
    • Serve as SPOC for vendor registration, vendor invoices & proforma invoices, payment acknowledgements, instructions related to payment etc.
    • Organize, print, tag all vendor invoices for department and practice, scan and store bills on Batra & Co. Box App.
    • Obtain approvals for all vendor invoicest from various internal stakeholders and obtain approval from the appropriate US team contact for approval
    • Serve as “MAKER” on HSBCnet Portal, download Bank Statement and update Batra & Co. Bank Excel File, on a weekly basis
    • Upload approved payments to HSBCnet Portal and forward to internal approval for disbursement
    • Retrieve pre-approved Concur Expense Re-imbursement statements from Chicago T&E team, ensure that these are accounted for before the 15th of each month. Upload expenses to HSBCnet Portal and forward to internal approval for disbursement
    • Support US team with budgeting and forecasting 
    • Prepare monthly invoice for and manage inwards remittances
    • Payroll administration
    • Liaison with internal teams  regarding any accounting or budgeting questions/issues
    • Liaison with external accountants & auditors 
    • Drive automation of accounting processes
    • Accounting and HR collaborate on monthly and annual statutory compliance’s. 
    • 5-7 years of relevant experience
