Job Summary
Job Description Summary
This role shall be responsible for working and coordinating with co-team members on O2C cycle / Accounts Receivable process in terms of Order Management, Cash Application, compliance to accounting standards by reviewing accuracy of the accounting entries, and statements ensure, working and monitoring reports for the relevant audience, monitoring verification of Receipts / Orders and adherence to FAI standards and policies, review working of relevant applications & systems to monitor deviations, control operations and devise solutions to mitigate the deviations & escalating issues, if any.
Knowledge on O2C Cycle (Accounts Receivables) and Reports:
1. Order management
2. Invoicing
3. Accounts receivable
4. Cash Application
5. Write-Offs
6. Refunds
7. Adjustments
8. Basic Reconciliation and Reporting
Technical and other Competencies:
- Effective Communication skills (Verbal & Written). Presentation Skills and Public Speaking skills, Attend / Drive Conference Calls.
- Support Month-End close activities within timeline. Experience in Coordinating with co-team members for accomplishing Process Deliverables (Achieving SLAs, Timelines, Accuracy (Including Quality Check, RCA, Escalations), Reports, and Ad-hoc requests).
- Good working knowledge of Oracle or any other ERPs
- Preferably familiar with US GAAP, good understanding of accounting processes.
- Experience in a multinational firm or within a shared service center is preferred.
- Hands-on and proactive strong organizational skills. Foster Teamwork, Display Leadership qualities.
- Accustomed to working with deadlines, in a dynamic environment.
- Results driven and service oriented to internal and external customers.
- Excellent collaboration with colleagues, and with the global business partners to provide service to support the overall Finance department’s goals and objectives.
- Ability to improvise the processes, Creative thinking and Problem solving, supporting the Projects.
- Process periodic/ ad-hoc report request from Customers. Training the team on processes,
- Follow and Maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
- Adherence to Control and Compliance.
- Analytical Skills to work on Reports, Excel knowledge including basic formulas.
Shift Timings: Willingness to work between 7AM to 3PM, 3 PM to 11 PM IST and Month End is 8 PM to 6AM IST (Mandatory).
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education is mandatory.
Typical Range of Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in O2C (Order To Cash ) process.
- Minimum of 1 years of Accounts Receivables and Basic Reconciliation experience is preferred.
