· University Degree & CA or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
· 10+ years relevant experience including supervisory, project management and/or technical experience.

Key Accountabilities:
· Manage various accounting sub-functions which may include ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue and asset accounting, as well as associated analysis and reporting.
· Evaluate and makes improvements to accounting processes while ensuring that practices comply with organization accounting policies and applicable laws and regulations.
· Lead and direct accounting professional and support staff, including subordinate supervisors
· Maintain balance sheet hygiene, ensure accurate recording of all transactions and timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations
· Oversees, advocates and enforces the key policies and procedures
· Governance – Ensure that an active register of Statutory, Compliance and Taxation requirements (ASX) is maintained
· Oversee the half and full year end external audit process and ensure that all key stakeholders are engaged and are accountable for contribution to a successful audit. Responsible for managing the audit process at each reporting period and manage the relationship with external statutory auditors
· Provide training, development and education to key stakeholders on the process, procedures and tasks associated with Group’s policies and procedures
· Support preparation of high-quality and analytical Group reporting packs – weekly and monthly (eg. P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow reports)
· Management of cashflow forecasting, exposure coverage and dealing with funding requirements with bank / group treasury team, Hedge Management.
· Timely processing & disbursement of employee emoluments and yearly employee related compliances
· Ensure reconciliation of intercompany balances
· Timely collection / payables of intercompany dues
· Ensuring correct capitalization and amortization of assets in accordance with accounting policies and procedures
· Risk Management and Internal Audit
· Able to assist others and troubleshoot system issues. Support in the development of new systems, processes and tools.
· Improve accuracy and timeliness of reporting cycles and develop the reporting quality via improved process, systems or additional analysis.
· Assisting with group finance requirements such as consolidated management reporting & analysis.
Knowledge & Skill
· Effectively communicate and present complex proposals and reports to senior level management. Ability to persuade and influence others.
· Advanced understanding of systems, processes and tools related to field.
· People skills to constantly lead and energize team.
Team
· Responsible for the oversight of the team and delivery of associated tasks and assignments related to the project.
· Responsible for the day-to-day management of direct reports and assessment of individual and team capabilities.
