Senior Relationship Manager Accounting
Job Description
Objective of the job
The SRMA, under the supervision of the MAS and in close co-operation with (S)RM Legal or Corporate, is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial and administrative affairs relating his/her portfolio of client companies, which are of “standard”, “non-standard” and “complex” level.
The SRMA coaches junior colleagues.
4. Deliverables
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Coaching
The SRMA coaches junior colleagues on technical aspects, quality and relationship management.
Client Accounting and Reporting
The SRMA ensures that he/she fully understands the transactions and the related accounting entries taken place during the year and is able to clearly and fully explain and document these transactions on behalf of stakeholders (auditors, clients etc.)
The SRMA ensures timely recording of transactions during the year.
The SRMA prepares the financial statements and financial reports for his/her portfolio of client companies in accordance with the “Drafting, Approval and Filing of Annual Accounts” process and procedure.
The SRMA is responsible for the timely filing of the financial statements at the RCS and if applicable for the timely financial reporting to the stakeholders (regulator, exchange, bank etc.).
The SRMA ensures the proper maintenance of the accounting files (completeness, accuracy, updating etc.) of his/her portfolio of client companies in accordance with the “Filing” and “Archiving” processes and procedures.
