As a core member of the CIS Fund Accounting team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for our complex client base.
Your Role:
- Working within a new line of business, you will build upon the existing CIS training program, establishing best practice protocols to ensure top tier client service delivery.
- You will work closely with the Client Integration team and operations teams in the onboarding of new clients
- You will liaise internally with key functional teams, located both onshore and offshore to ensure awareness by all of key client requirements and overall operational effectiveness.
- You will work in partnership with other Senior Vice Presidents and other functional groups involved with providing administration to a multi asset portfolio to ensure the resolution of complex client issues.
- You will ensure strong emphasis on escalation and complaints management within the team and within the department.
- You will review departmental procedures and policies and supervise teams to ensure adherence to these procedures.
- You will liaise with clients regarding reporting requirements and deadlines, ensuring delivery in an accurate and timely manner.
- You will manage and oversee staffing requirements and monitor relative to budgets.
- You will ensure fluid execution and strategy for work forecasting and allocation.
- You will actively manage operational risk – providing monthly KPI reporting and status reports to external clients and executive management team. You will review risk logs and support, co-ordinate and communicate incident resolution as necessary.
- Will develop a broad understanding of Citco business lines and associated product/service propositions
- Leading projects that in connection with the continuing expansion and evolution of the business;
- You will closely monitor day to day processes and deliverables. Interfacing with the different departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of all activities on a daily basis
- Identify & implement opportunities for process improvement initiatives within the team. Network with best practice within public and private market LoBs to ensure alignment with best practice. Drive or initiate projects which can add value to the process, people & business
About You:
- You have a Bachelor or master level degree in accounting, finance, economics or professional accounting designation
- You have 12-15 years’ experience in Financial Services, preferably with exposure to Product Control, Operations or Fund Accounting environments
- You have 7+ years’ experience managing staff
- You have in depth experience across public and private market Fund structures and investments
- Passion for stakeholder management – clients, internal stakeholders and management team.
- You have an in depth understanding of the transaction and investment cycle of private equity funds
- You have an excellent grasp of Citco’s various technology platforms or the ability to learn quickly.
- You have experience in managing significant client onboardings
- You have experience working with and overseeing operational teams across multiple offices.
