Specialist, Financial Accounting and Tax
Job Description
Job Duties & responsibilities:
- Work with HO on computation of capital adequacy & obtaining certificate from HO on maintenance of capital adequacy at parent level.
- Coordinate with Regional Finance team to ensure submission of Finance related reports to IFSCA as per defined timelines
- Prepare MIS reports for management and resolve queries on financial performance
- Responsible for Statutory, Tax and TP audit completion along with certificates
- Responsible for GST compliance and filing of reports on a timely basis
- Coordinate with central team on vendor payments and tax compliances (on the condition that this can be outsourced to DBIL)
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of Financial Statements as per guidelines provided by IFSCA
- Act as a Single Point of Contact for any queries related to CT, Finance, Accounts
- Prepare group financials and various submissions to HO for group reporting including GLAO, group audit and CoA management
Experience:
- Knowledge of law and practice of Income Tax and GST
- Working knowledge of the overall banking environment and products and applicable regulations
- Experience in Accounting and Financial reporting
- Well versed with banking products, accounting norms, and regulations and standards.
- Thorough working knowledge of MS-Excel and PowerPoint
- IFRS knowledge would be preferred
Education / Preferred Qualifications:
CA/MBA with minimum 6-8 Yrs post-qualification experience in banking, preferably in Financial MIS reporting, Accounting and Taxation
