UK Accounting

Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a UK Accounting professional located in Pune. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting tasks, including maintaining accurate accounting records, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, preparing taxes and other regulatory compliance work, and liaising with external auditors. Other essential functions will include keeping up to date with regulatory compliance and procedural changes, working closely with other departments, and performing data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance
• Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP and other relevant accounting standards
• Experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks, Xero etc.
• Sound knowledge of taxation law, company law and other statutory compliances at operating/ compiling level with respect to UK rules and regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• ACCA or CIMA qualification would be desirable
