About The Role:

CloudRock are currently recruiting for a Workday Financial Accounting Senior Consultant. As a Workday Financial Accounting Senior Consultant, you are required to provide exemplary service, support, advice and delivery services to Workday clients.

This is a fantastic role to grow in line with a growing, global company.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in consulting teams on client engagements, internal projects, & practice building.
  • Lead client workshops, providing guidance on design decisions, accounting outcomes, defining functional solutions, troubleshooting and testing.
  • Transition into a role as a “product expert” for Financial Accounting, providing an in-house point of contact, configuration guidance & functional expertise to colleagues and clients.
  • To train, support and upskill junior team members as required based on your experience and help further develop Workday deployment & Hypercare + AMS offerings.

Mandatory Experience:

  • 4+ years’ experience of Workday Financials gained in a medium to large size company
  • Consolidated experience of configuration design & implementation in at least 2 of the following: financial accounting, direct intercompany, business assets, adaptive planning or accounting centre.
  • Accounting or Finance Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Accounting qualification preferred.
  • Experience working with international customers.

Desired Experience:

  • Workday Financial Certification (Pro or Services)
  • Previous experience of managing a team
  • Minimum of one end to end Workday Finance Project

Necessary Skills:

  • Excellent written and spoken English language
  • Effective presentation skills to lead a call / workshops
  • Consolidated consulting skills
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Language skills such as French, Spanish, German preferred
